A simply excellent scale Good Grips Scales w/Pull-out DIsplay - 5-lb.
Our favorite scale from OXO Good Grips makes a virtue of simplicity. Not to mention accuracy, reliability and convenience. It weighs up to 5 lbs. in English or metric units, to an accuracy of 1/8-oz. or 1 gram and employs just 2 buttons. At the touch of one of those buttons, the scale tares, or zeros out, so you can compensate for the weight of a bowl, or weigh one ingredient after another in the same container. The digital display even shows the scale's remaining capacity. And one really nice feature is that the digital display unit pulls out from the body of the scale, so you can read it easily even with a large bowl shadowing the display window. The weighing platform simply lifts off for easy cleaning. Bowl shown not included.
The scale is sleek and compact, less than 2" thick, measuring just 7.2" x 9.2", small enough to use and store most anywhere. Two AAA batteries are included.
